Voltage Mode Control[edit]

Voltage mode control, also known as duty ratio control is the simplest feedback control. Here output voltage is sensed, reduced to the reference voltage level and subtracted from the reference. The result of subtraction is called the error signal. The error signal is then passed through the compensator (PI, PD, PID, etc) to create the desired duty ratio.
